  1. This hardly seems like an appropriate place to showcase your political viewpoints. The gym is a business and that's not very professional.

  2. FYI "The Gym" is our business, and we (as in the owners of said gym) can express whatever viewpoints we want! If you do not like them, feel free not to be a part of OUR gym! Also please feel free to not hide behind an anonymous tag. Unless for some reason you are ashamed of your own viewpoint, then by all means... hide!

  3. So, if someone had a political sticker on their car (maybe one with a different political view than ours) and they drove that car to work, where everyone could see those stickers: Peers, supervisors, clients, patrons, students, passerby’s……..whoever. Wouldn’t that, in your words, be “not very professional” as well?

When you decide to start your own gym, feel free to write or post whatever you want on your webpage/blog, in fact, I encourage it(encouragement!) And, I won’t complain about what you post, I just won’t go to your website/blog (its called choice.) So, if you don’t like what is posted, go away, or don’t look at it.

P.S., I wouldn’t go looking at the CrossFit main page then, there are quite a few conservative articles posted there as well, sorry.

  4. I wonder if Mr. / Mrs. Anonymous is the lights on, heater going, and fan left on culprit as written about on the white board?

  5. So defensive! Haha sounds like you think that your ideas are the only correct ones. Oh well, "Perception is reality", as they say! :)

  6. I have never said that anyone is wrong! I respect everyone's opinions, it is just hard to respect an opinion when no one will put their name to it! What we do not respect is someone coming one here and telling us we are not professional in our business. The beauty of choice is just that... you have the choice to not read what is one here. We don't expect everyone to see things the same way we do. That would make for a very boring existence. But its very hypocritical for someone to not respect our views that are posted on OUR website for OUR gym, and then talk about ideas. That first post contained no ideas or thought out opinions. It was a direct insult to the professionalism of the way we run our gym. So yea I will be defensive about that. Post a well thought out argument to why you don't agree with something, stand by it with your name, and I will respect it. Criticize us and hide behind anonymous, and well, "Perception is reality".
