The effort is for time. Focus on the quality of the movement in the thruster, depth and lockout. Do not sell it short. If the weight is to much for full range of motion, scale it back.
Scale for rope ascent is 4 pull ups per ascent, (ie. 12 ascents = 48 pull-ups)
